Smart mask from japan

The new mask, developed by the Japanese initiative Donut Robotics, wears over the normal face mask. The mask, which can translate words spoken in Japanese into 8 different languages, also provides its users with the opportunity to use an audio interface . Thus, people wearing the mask can send messages, make calls and adjust the user’s volume.
The mask called C-Mask is connected to smartphones via Bluetooth connection. Thus, the functions of the mask, such as texting, are performed on the smartphone. The resulting product looks very useful.
Mask from despair

Donut Robotics, the producer of C-Mask, found this mask while working to ‘find a product to sell’ after the need for robot guides and translators ceased during the coronavirus period.
This mask, which the company developed and prototyped in just one month, was developed by Shunsuke Fujibayashi, a Donut Robotics engineer. Fujibayashi has previously worked on a system that monitors your facial muscles and resolves conversations. The 260 thousand dollars required for the project was obtained by selling shares from the crowdfunding website Fundinno.
Taisuke Ono, the CEO of the company, stated that they have been working on robots for years and that their aim with new products is to adapt to the society that has been reshaped due to coronavirus. The company will present the first 5000 masks to Japan from September. Its targets are the USA, EU, and China markets.
