- Microsoft would have already decided all Microsoft Surface Duo specifications and right now they would be polishing their operating system.
- It will have 5.6-inch AMOLED screens at a resolution of 1800 × 1350 px and with an Android 10 operating system.
- The controversial aspect is that it would carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and therefore would lack support for 5G connectivity.
One of the few Microsoft devices that will be released this year without any delay will be the Microsoft Surface Duo, its dual-screen mobile that will launch after the summer and from which almost all its technical specifications have already been leaked.
While Microsoft would have decided to delay the Windows 10 X operating system and also the Surface Neo until 2021, the one that will not suffer any delay will be its double-screen Android phone called Microsoft Surface Duo, which Microsoft has already distributed among different internal developers while focusing on optimizing your operating system.
Now a new report from Windows Central has revealed practically all the technical specifications of the Microsoft Surface Duo, and in some cases, they are surprising, especially since it would be betting on a processor from last year. Apparently all this information comes from Microsoft employees who have started testing this device in the real world, although there may always be certain changes before it is available on the market.
Regarding the specifications of the Microsoft Surface Duo, it is said that it will have two 5.6-inch AMOLED screens, offering each of them an aspect ratio of 4: 3, resolution of 1800 × 1350 px . The operating system that comes standard will be Android 10 and will include Microsoft’s own applications. The applications are being prepared so that they can cover both screens, but also to move from one screen to another, which will provide the user with some productivity if, for example, he is working with the device.
What may disappoint is the processor, which supposedly would carry a Snapdragon 855, and not the Snapdragon 865 that are already mounting mobile phones that are leaving around this time. In this way, the device would lack support for the 5G community, which could be a severe setback in certain markets. The rest of the specifications are completed with 6GB of RAM, and storage that according to the model would offer 64 / 256GB. Regarding the battery, it would have 3460mAh with support for fast charging technology through USB Type C.
Another aspect to keep in mind is that it will come equipped with a fingerprint reader, and an 11 Mpx rear camera with f / 2.0 aperture. At the moment there is no information regarding the price of the device, but it will not be cheap.
