The Xiaomi ecosystem is made up of many companies that are dedicated to manufacturing the different products that the Chinese giant markets. Huami is one of them and is the company behind Amazfit, the brand specialized in wearable devices, which has such popular models on the market as the Amazfit GTS, the Amazfit GTR, or the Amazfit Bip Lite.
Now, Huami has announced that on May 19 it will unveil its new smartwatch. It is the Amazfit Ares, a new sports smart watch that stands out for having a robust and resistant design to withstand extreme conditions.

At the moment we do not know much about the new Xiaomi smartwatch. Huami has published an image on his Weibo profile that lets us see what his appearance will be and offers us some information about its characteristics.
The Amazfit Ares features an octagonal-shaped, full-color display whose sides are lined with what appears to be a thick plastic housing , ensuring resistance to shock, drop and impact. The strap also appears to be made of sturdy rubber material, and is most likely submersible.
One of the features that Huami has confirmed is that the new smart watch will feature 70 sport modes to record workouts from countless disciplines. In addition, the manufacturer ensures that it also offers the analysis characteristics of FirstBeat, a company that creates software for the training of professional athletes.
As we can see on the screens that have appeared in the teasers, where the data regarding the pulsations and number of steps appear, it will at least be equipped with a heart rate sensor and pedometer. You will probably also equip GPS to accurately measure outdoor activities.
Next Tuesday May 19 we will know all its features in detail , as well as its price and availability.
