Amazon’s streaming service (Amazon Prime Video) allows the user to activate a control over the content they want to keep at home.
The variety of content that a streaming platform can offer can become a headache for some parents who want their children to enjoy these services as well.
That is why many series, movies or programs in general, have a classification that will serve the user later, to configure their parental control in order to restrict the content that they do not think is suitable for their children.
In Amazon Prime Video this option is also available, so below I will explain how it is the step by step:
Step by step to activate Parental Control for Amazon Prime Video
The person must go to the menu section, in Account and List> My Prime Video , then access the streaming platform where they will request the access data.
When the person is already registered, they should go to Account and Settings , where they will find a tab called Parental Control.
There it will ask you again for the password that you previously registered.
Customize Parental Control
The user can activate Parental Control with the default settings of the platform, however, there is an option where the person can further customize the restrictions of those contents, according to the ages or the device on which they are browsing.
So if you activate Parental Control, those young people under 16 years of age, when entering the platform and want to see content not suitable for their age, then the site will ask for a password.
