WWDC 2020: Apple invites the public to set reminders for a keynote that takes place on the 22nd

On Tuesday (16) Apple published on YouTube the page where we can all follow WWDC 2020, an event that starts scheduled for June 22.

It is possible to see the image used to publicize the annual conference for developers (Memojis using MacBooks Pro), where we will know the news that the Cupertino giant is reserved for its platforms.

This year, for the first time in the company’s history, the event will be completely online, an initiative stemming from the current coronavirus pandemic scenario facing the world.

In 2018, Apple adopted a similar strategy when it publicized the event through Twitter – everyone who liked the post was automatically reminded about the event where we met the iPhone XR and XS.

This time, just like last year when the iPhone 11 was launched, Cupertino adopted YouTube as its main form of dissemination.

For this year’s conference, iOS 14, macOS 10.16, watchOS 7 and tvOS 14 are expected, as well as, as always, expectations for the arrival of new hardware, such as a new design for the iMac

Rumors corroborate that the event will also be the scene of an important announcement by Apple, related to the arrival of the first Mac ARM, which should only be commercially launched at the end of the year.

The decision to finally take the first steps outside the Intel platform for their computers represents a watershed in the company’s history, as was the change from PowerPC to Intel processors at WWDC 2005.

In addition to broadcasting the event on YouTube, Apple will also do it on a special page through its official website, in the Apple Developer and Apple TV apps and through the Apple Developer portal. As always, we will be covering news firsthand.
