Cyberpunk 2077 is postponed to November 19
The studio CD Projekt Red has just declared that it will postpone the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 once again. According to the statement, the debut will now be on November 19th (Cyberpunk 2077 is postponed).
Despite the statement by Adam Kiciński, CEO of CD Projekt Red, in early April stating that Cyberpunk 2077 would not be postponed yet again, unfortunately, it did not go as expected. A statement from CD Projekt co-founder Marcin Iwiński was published via the game’s official Twitter account, together with studio head Adam Badowski, saying that the title, despite being practically ready, requires some fine adjustments and so its launch will be postponed to November 19th.
Previously scheduled to debut on September 17th, Cyberpunk 2077 had its release postponed to November 19th. Check out the tweet message from the official game account below:
“At the time of writing these words, Cyberpunk 2077 finished the content and gameplay. The missions, the scenes, the skills and items; all the adventures that Night City has to offer – it’s all there. But with an abundance of content and complex systems intertwined, we need to go through everything correctly, balance the mechanics of the game and fix many bugs. “
It is the second time that Cyberpunk 2077 has been postponed. Initially, the game had been planned to be released on April 16, but ended up having its debut postponed to September 17 and now to November 19. The studio said in the statement that journalists are currently experimenting with a preview version of the game and that on June 25, images will be revealed.
“We hope this will satisfy some of your hunger for the game, as we work to improve it for the game. Released in November.”
The new release date is likely to line up with game releases from the next generation of consoles (Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X). It is believed that video games will be released before the Thanksgiving Day that will take place on November 26 this year.
