HyperX Showdown is a new series of game events that will bring together celebrities and athletes
At the beginning of the month, HyperX held Play Together, a live that brought together personalities such as the fighter Anderson Silva and the player Casemiro to play together with professional gamers. The initiative seems to have been a success since the company has just announced HyperX Showdown, a new series of events that will follow the same principles by bringing great celebrities from the most varied branches to compete with each other.
The events start tomorrow, with the participation of producers Afrojack and Nicky Romero, famous in the midst of electronic music, and two athletes from the eSports team London Royal Ravens to play Call of Duty: Warzone. The HyperX Showdown will run for eight weeks, being broadcast through the brand’s official Twitch channel, and will also feature titles such as Fortnite, NBA 2K, Madden, among others.

More celebrities will be announced over the weeks, and a special episode will air with the exclusive participation of women and the holding of an NBA Rookie Challenge, which brings together highlights among the beginners of the North American basketball league for a special match. At the end of the eight weeks, HyperX will select the best among all competitors to become the new brand ambassador.
It is worth remembering that the manufacturer announced last week the arrival of the Cloud Alpha S Blackout Edition, a completely black version of its famous phone. The novelty brings double chamber technology to reduce distortion, aluminum frame, synthetic leather coating, and high-density foams, already available for purchase.
