iPhone 12 survives at a depth of about 10m for more than 20 minutes
iPhone 12 and iPhone 11 undergo extreme water resistance tests. Check out how Apple smartphones fared in the end!
After the launch of the new iPhones recently, as always, there are several tests and analyses with Apple phones. This weekend, the channel EverythingApplePro EAP, on YouTube, published a video in which the “apple” smartphones are tested in the most diverse ways to find out if there is really the so-called water resistance to submerging the device in a lake, for example.
In the video recorded by the EverythingApplePro EAP channel, iPhones are placed inside a cage, where they are fixed to the wall of the cage so that they are not swaying, hitting, and at the same time leaving the connectors and protrusions of sound free. Initially, the smartphones were subjected to a submersion test of 2 meters deep and as expected, both the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 12 did not undergo any changes.

After the first test mentioned above, the YouTuber performed another one, but this time at a depth of 5.49m, where fortunately no problems were detected. After this, the cell phones were put to the test again, being placed at a depth of 9.14m, and even after 21 minutes in this state, both the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 12 returned fully functional. It is interesting to note that in the case of the iPhone 11, its IP67 certification guarantees that nothing will happen until a depth of 2 meters, and tests have proven that the phone can go further.
