The iPhone 13 prototype was leaked showing significant changes from current models. It can bring the front sensor under the screen and quad rear cameras, the main one being 64MP.
Apple has not even launched the iPhone 12, but the rumors regarding the next model began to emerge on the Internet. This time, the Japanese website MacOtakara shared a 3D printed prototype of the iPhone 13, showing that this device can reach the market with a 5.5 “screen and significant changes compared to current models.
Allegedly, Apple’s next top of the line will leave out the traditional notch implemented on the iPhone X, delivering even better performance. Because of this, the front camera was placed under the screen, is located right in the center. Although not confirmed, it is expected that the company use the technology Under Panel Sensor from Samsung.
The video also reveals the back of the iPhone 13, making it very clear that it should be launched with four cameras and a LiDAR sensor, something that reinforces the information shared by leaker “Fudge” last week.
Apparently, this device has a main camera of 64MP, a value considerably higher than the 12MP used by Apple since the iPhone 6s. The secondary sensor would be the 40MP photo with 5x optical zoom and digital up to 20x. The third camera would have 64MP with anamorphic lens, while the fourth should bring 40MP with 0.25x reverse optical zoom.

We can see that the prototype displayed by MacOtakara still has a USB Type-C port, eliminating the traditional Lightning. This contradicts some rumors that suggest the Cupertino giant should adopt something similar to the iPad’s Smart Connector. Therefore, we will have to wait to know what standard will be implemented.
If Apple maintains the timeline of other years, the iPhone 13 will hit the market in September 2021. Until then, other leaks will emerge to confirm (or not) this information.
