Kindle Paperwhite gets two new versions in different colors
Kindle Paperwhite is an e-reader device manufactured by Amazon that allows the reading of digital books in several file formats, such as Mobi, pdf, and Docx, for example. Traditionally, these devices – which have two more variants besides the normal version, the Kindle Paperwhite, which is the intermediate version and the Kindle Oasis, which is the most advanced model of the reader – are manufactured in two simple colors: black and white.
And for those who like to diversify and prefer more striking colors, Amazon still offers a wide variety of protective covers for them, which are more colorful and have several details such as drawings, reliefs and configuration to keep the device upright without the reader needing to hold it it.
However the company has just announced two different versions of the Kindle Paperwhite. Those who do not like to wear protective covers on the device, so as not to make it look bigger, or even to keep it lighter, can buy the device in the colors Reddish Plum (red) and Greenish Sage (green).
These two new versions will have no difference from the traditional black Kindle Paperwhite, which in its most current model, can be found with options of 8GB or 32GB.
As for the price, the devices will also have no differences from the normal model. However, so far they are not available in all of the Amazon stores. But its traditional black version with 8GB is on sale at the store for $98, while the 32GB version costs $128.
For those looking for the most affordable models, the tenth generation of the normal Kindle version – which also already has built-in lighting, such as Paperwhite and oasis – can be purchased for $69 in white and black.
We also highlight that Amazon devices receive updates eventually, and in one of them, the company started to allow the deletion of files directly on the device.
