Malwarebytes, whose utility for fighting malware is well known, today unveils Malwarebytes Privacy, its own VPN service, to improve respect for the privacy of Internet users.
Malwarebytes Privacy aims to offer the best encryption in its class (AES 256 bits) without compromising performance, if we believe Malwarebytes. The VPN does not record the online activities of the user and offers a choice of more than 180 servers in around thirty countries, including France.

The VPN is currently available on Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 using software to download. macOS, iOS, Android versions are planned, but a release date is not communicated for the moment. The price is € 49.99 / year with the possibility of using the VPN on five different devices at the same time. There is no trial period, however.
Malwarebytes Privacy is now available on the Malwarebytes website. Point to take into account: some settings deemed important for some are absent for the moment like Kill Switch to completely cut Internet access when the VPN disconnects, personalized DNS, blocking of malware, etc. Malwarebytes Privacy is, therefore, lagging behind the competition, but Malwarebytes guarantees in return that the debits are there.
