Moto G Fast and Moto E (2020) are Motorola’s new intermediaries! Both offer acceptable specifications for the category and price that should attract less demanding consumers.
The Motorola decided two interim official in the United States: Fast Moto G and Moto E.
Both deliver acceptable specifications for the category, highlighting the low price, something that can draw the attention of many consumers.
Moto G Fast
This device has a 6.4 “IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels and 19: 9 aspect. Inside, we have the Snapdragon 665 processor, combined with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD.
In the camera department, there are three sensors at the rear, the 16MP primary, the 8MP wide-angle secondary and the 2MP macro tertiary. The small “hole” located in the upper left corner of the screen houses a camera dedicated to 8MP selfies.
To keep the Moto G Fast on, Motorola inserted a 4,000 mAh battery with a 10W fast charge. In software, Android 10 comes installed at the factory, with the promise of upgrading to Android 11. As a security feature, there is a fingerprint reader at the rear.
Moto E (2020)
When we talk about the most basic model, it delivers a 6.2 “IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels and 19: 9 aspect. The embedded processor is the Snapdragon 632, combined with 2GB of RAM and the same 32GB of storage , expandable again via microSD.
In terms of photography, the Moto E (2020) has two sensors at the rear, the main one being 13MP and the second one being depth 2MP. The drop-shaped notch houses a 5MP camera.
The battery of this device adds up to 3,550 mAh with a standard charge of 5W. Android 10 is also installed at the factory, but unlike the Moto G Fast, there is no promise of an update. On the other hand, it maintains a feature of its older brother: fingerprint reader on the rear.
Pricing and availability
In the United States, Moto G Fast and Moto E (2020) will start selling on June 12. Regarding prices, they arrive by:
- Moto G Fast: $ 199;
- Moto E (2020): $ 149.
To date, Motorola has not commented on availability in other markets.
