Nokia 9 PureView prototype leaks showing fingerprint reader at the rear
The Nokia 9 PureView hit the market as one of Nokia’s most interesting launches due to its set of five cameras at the rear, something that immediately caught the attention of mobile photography enthusiasts, promising performance above the competition.
However, the top of the line launched in 2019 ended up disappointing in practical tests, including showing itself incapable of even gaining a Night Mode to assist in the quality of images captured in poor light conditions, due to a limitation in its lens system.
This model hit the market with a fingerprint reader under the screen, however, a recent leak showed that HMD Global was originally planning to launch with a conventional biometric sensor, located at the rear, adding even more “information” in that region.
The information was released a few hours ago on Twitter after the publication of some photos of an alleged prototype, which were released by the profile @Hikari_Calyx, as we can see below:
t comes as no surprise that Nokia’s top of the line brought a slightly different design in its test versions, after all, manufacturers generally prototype dozens of different patterns until they decide on a final design, which will hit the shelves.
In the case of the successor to Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 9.3 PureView, apparently more than 10 different designs are being tested, including features such as a front camera under the screen and a 120 Hz panel.
The upcoming model, which has already had its possible colors revealed, even gained a concept based on the rumors and leaks hitherto recorded.
