Now TV Smart Stick and Now TV Box gain support for Spotify app
Now TV is a pay TV service that works via the internet and operates in some regions of Europe, such as the United Kingdom and Italy, for example, and which is managed by the television company Sky UK.
In addition to the streaming service, the company also markets two devices that work as receivers to turn any TV into a smart television. The devices, which work similarly to Mi Box or Amazon Fire Stick, for example, are Now TV Smart Stick and Now TV Box.
However, despite the variety of applications that can be found on Now TV Smart Stick and Now TV Box, such as Netflix, for example, others are not yet available. That was the case with Spotify.
Now, recently added to the service, the music streaming application can be accessed by users of the accessories. To do this, simply access Applications and navigate to the application. Then just click “add application” and then “OK” to finish.
If the application does not appear in this list, it will be necessary to restore the factory settings of the Smart Stick or Now TV Box. It is worth mentioning that this reset will reset all options on the device. Therefore, it will be necessary to register an account again, as well as repeat the initial connection settings. Before starting completely, the application system will download all updates available for the applications, including Spotify.
Once installed, you will be able to place your account normally, by entering email and password, or by using the code that is available on the Spotify web page.
It is important to mention that, in addition to third-party streaming apps, Now TV has its own service, with a movie catalog that is updated frequently, with titles like Parasite, Once upon a time in … Hollywood, Game of Thrones, The L World – Generation Q and MotherFatherSon
