Check out the new Panasonic program to turn your cameras into webcams. If you have a camera from the manufacturer, make sure it is within the supported devices.
Panasonic recently launched a beta version (free) of a program to turn its Lumix cameras into webcams for streaming. This is the Lumix Tether for Streaming software that allows users to use the brand’s cameras to conduct videoconferences and live streams. The company follows a trend that is occurring among developers of photographic equipment, such as Canon and Fujifilm, to assist people in communication during the quarantine caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The arrival of programs like this one from Panasonic, Fujifilm, and Canon will undoubtedly help many to carry out different types of activities, ranging from work to leisure and communication with relatives and friends. The Lumix Tether pain Streaming is compatible with the Panasonic cameras GH5, Panasonic GH5S, Panasonic G9, Panasonic S1, Panasonic, and Panasonic S1R S1H. The program developed by the company supports only the Windows 10 operating system and allows people with a Panasonic camera to broadcast on video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, BlueJeans, among others. There is also the possibility of using streaming services to make lives like YouTube, Twitch, and Mixer, from Microsoft.
