Protective case confirms Xiaomi Mi CC10 design
A Chinese retailer listed some protective cases for the Mi CC10, making the design of the device very clear and confirming what we saw in other renderings.
Information points out that Xiaomi is preparing to make Mi CC10 official, its next premium intermediary. Now, to corroborate this, the protective case of this device was found in the Chinese retailer Taobao, confirming the same design found in other renderings.
Looking at the rear of the Mi CC10, we can see a round module similar to the Redmi K30 Pro, with an LED flash below. However, the layout of the four cameras is totally different from the Redmi flagship.
In addition, the images clearly show a display without any “holes”, but taking into account previous leaks and the fact that there is no cutout in the case for the pop-up camera, there is a possibility that the company responsible for the cases did not have this solution is included only for aesthetics.
Recently, a Russian technology blog revealed some details about the Mi CC10, which is codenamed “CAS” and has been developed by Xiaomi since the beginning of the year. It looks like this smartphone will have a main sensor of 108MP, but it will not be the same one found on the Mi CC9 Pro, Mi 10, and Mi 10 Pro.
Instead, the company must insert an enhanced version with code “HM2”. Apparently, the new sensor will have support for 12x optical zoom and digital up to 120x, surpassing the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Huawei P40 Pro + with its 100x.
As for the processor, we expect the Snapdragon 775G, Qualcomm’s new intermediate chipset that should be announced next Wednesday (17). Allegedly, it delivers 40% better performance than the Snapdragon 765, while the GPU has been improved by 50%.
Of course, we still cannot confirm this information, so we will have to wait for other leaks to know if the Mi CC10 really has the new Qualcomm processor and if, in fact, it will reach the market with this design.
