PS5 is made official by Sony with futuristic design and titles that will reach the console
In live streaming on its digital platforms, Sony officially announced the PlayStation 5 family. The Future Of Gaming event was confirmed a few days ago and showed, at first, the games that will run on it, so that in the end the mystery was revealed, and the console, finally, presented.
The list of games includes some titles from Sony itself, such as Gran Turismo 7, which still has no set release date and Spider-Man: Miles Morales, sequel to the game released for PS4 in 2018, and games from other major studios, such as Grand Theft Auto V, which has been confirmed for the console and will arrive next year. Titles like the new NBA 2K are also on the platform.

With vertical design, just like the Xbox Series X, and futuristic, the PS5 was designed to be docked and will have two versions: one with a physical media player and another that supports only game downloads, but the prices have not been revealed. It can also be used horizontally, if desired.
There are also several accessories, as shown in the image below, such as a DualSense charging station, HD camera, wireless headset and a remote control.
Sony has been teasing its fans for some time with gradual information about the hardware. A few months ago the design of the controller was revealed , and the specifications, also revealed in advance, have an AMD Zen 2 CPU of eight cores and a custom GPU based on AMD RDNA 2.
Custom AMD chips will provide 10.28 teraflops of power using varying frequencies on the CPU and GPU. Sony announced at the end of the event that the PlayStation 5 will be released later this year. In addition, an own SSD solution will help in loading the games.

This SSD will provide 825 GB of storage and 5.5 GB / s of performance. The game supports 8K graphics, 3D, and 4K audio with a 120Hz refresh rate. On DualSense, the controller features adaptive triggers, tactile feedback, and a dedicated gameplay sharing button. Most of the more than 4,000 titles currently available for PlayStation 4 will run on the current model.
