In the first week of June, Xiaomi launched the Android 10 update for Redmi 7A in China. A few days later, the Redmi Note 7 Pro was presented with a similar update, and yesterday, the Redmi 7 started to receive its share.
The Redmi Note 7, the brand’s first smartphone with a 48MP camera is also now being presented with the stable Android 10 update in China.

Xiaomi is known for supporting most of its devices through three MIUI versions . But the same cannot be said for the official Android version, as Xiaomi guarantees three versions of MIUI but that does not mean 3 versions of Android.
From the beginning, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has been in the habit of updating the Android version of its smartphones more slowly than other OEMs. The situation has worsened this year as most input devices launched in early 2019 are still running Android Pie.
Fortunately, these devices are starting to receive the update this month. That said, the Android 10 update for Redmi Note 7 in China comes with build number V11.0.2.0.QFGCNXM . global versions may be numbered differently when the brand starts spreading the update globally.
It is important to note that now the entire Redmi 7 / Redmi Note 7 series has received Android 10 in China. But the company has not yet deigned to do the same in other regions. These devices will receive the stable MIUI 12 update in the coming weeks.
That said, we expect Xiaomi to start releasing the Android 10 update for the Redmi 8 and Redmi Note 8 series in a row. For those who don’t know, the Redmi Note 8 Pro has already received the update in all regions.
