Was it bad there too? Redmi Note 9S users report errors with Wi-Fi
In April, Xiaomi announced the official launch of the Redmi Note 9S. The model, which is the international version – only with a different name – of India ‘s Redmi Note 9 Pro, was officially launched lands for no less than $ 542.
However, due to the “high price” of the product that is officially marketed in our country, most of the Chinese fan base here continues to resort to importing to buy the brand’s devices, as it did before its arrival in the market.
And, due to this, some may experience a failure that has started to become recurrent with users of this phone in other regions.
According to some publications in international forums, such as the Mi Community or the XDA, Redmi Note 9S users report errors, some units of the device have a failure with the Wi-Fi connection. According to those affected, the connection to the network is lost after about ten or fifteen minutes after locking the screen and the wireless internet network is automatically disabled. After that, even after unlocking the screen, the connection is not reestablished, requiring the user to manually reconnect their device.
Some users have stated that after upgrading to the global stable version of MIUI 11.0.8.0, the error is partially corrected. However, this correction requires the device to be reset every ten minutes, which is still not a viable solution – by far – for those who have been affected.
Apparently, this is a flaw related to the system, since some users reported that the problem was partially solved. In addition, the same does not happen with Indian devices of the Redmi Note 9 Pro model, which were not affected by this flaw. So it is very likely that this will soon be corrected by an update via OTA.
So, do you have a Redmi Note 9S that has this flaw? Comment with us below the way the error happens on your cell phone.
