Samsung has always shown an interest in creating Samsung glasses to compete with Google Glass, which lately seems to be somewhat forgotten. Samsung Glass? South Korean may be working on smart glasses with AR.
The latest news from the Google device came in July 2019, when it was announced that a new version of it would be released in late 2020. Now a patent has signaled that a version of Samsung may arrive with new features.
The patent was published on June 4, 2020 and indicates that the South Korean may be working on glasses focused on augmented reality. According to the patent text, the device has a small touch screen and a module for communication. He would use this interface to connect to other devices to project his image on other screens.

If you think about it a little, you can understand that it can work the same way as our cell phones when connecting to a Google Cast device to display content on a larger screen. The patent also states that smart glasses can have at least one processor so that it can act alone most of the time and still connect to more devices.
One example is a cell phone, where the user can control the device without having to take it out of his pocket, showing its contents and media through the screen of the glasses, as if he were an extension of the smartphone.
Remember that we have already seen signs that Apple may be working on a similar device after it acquired a Virtual Reality company called NextVR. If this is confirmed and Google actually reveals a new version of Glass later this year, we should have a very interesting new market for smart wearable devices by the end of 2020.
