WhatsApp recently released a feature that allows speed voice messages in the application, a feature that has been present for a long time in Telegram but was inserted just this week the messenger. As usual, the function was made available in advance for users enrolled in the beta testers program, who receive in advance the main news that will arrive on the mobile platform.
As it was released a few days ago, the tool will inevitably present problems and instabilities, which should be fixed later in the next updates. According to information, the developer works to insert new features in the instant messenger to prevent users’ migration to other platforms, such as Telegram or Signal, for example.

The functionality is available for both Android and iOS, also arriving in the web version of the service. For you to have access to this function you need to update WhatsApp to the latest stable version. On the browser platform, it is possible to accelerate voice messages natively or using WA Web Plus for WhatsApp, an extension for Chrome that adds several new features to WhatsApp Web.
1st Step:
You must first log in to WhatsApp Web. To do this, go to the website and then open the app on your smartphone and tap on the ‘three dots’ in the upper right corner, and press on ‘WhatsApp Web’. In this step, use the cell phone camera to scan the QR code that will be displayed on the PC.
2nd Step:
To change the playback speed just play the audio and then tap on the ‘1x’ button, changing it to ‘1.5 or 2x’. The news came to everyone officially, but it still has flaws and bugs in the web version.
