The 14-inch MacBook Pro will arrive, but it will be expected more than analysts thought. At least this is indicated by the latest rumors, which place its launch in 2021.
A few days ago, without warning and without holding a large presentation event, Apple announced the launch of the 13 “MacBook Pro (2020), an update of its more compact professional laptop that says goodbye to the controversial butterfly keyboard, doubles its storage and improves your performance.
However, although this update is well-received (especially regarding the addition of the Magic Keyboard), it is not what users expected.
And it is that the rumors of the last months placed the launch of a new 14-inch MacBook Pro for the second quarter of this year. This was anticipated by Ming-Chi Kuo, the renowned popular analyst for his accurate forecasts of Apple products.
Instead of an upgrade to the 13-inch MacBook Pro, it was expected that those from Cupertino would present this spring a redesign of this laptop with a slightly larger screen and some of the novelties we saw last fall on the 16-inch MacBook Pro. including reduced frames, upgraded speakers and microphones, or the Magic Keyboard.
The long-awaited MacBook Pro with a slightly larger screen and design improvements has finally not arrived, but that does not mean that the Cupertino do not have it in mind. In fact, according to the latest rumors, what would have happened is that Apple has delayed its launch and would not arrive until next year.
These new data are provided on Twitter @ L0vetodream, an anonymous account that has been shown to handle inside information about Apple’s plans. Among his successful predictions is the launch of the iPad Pro, the Magic Keyboard, or more recently the new iPhone SE 2020.
Therefore, the “dreams” shared by this account tend to come true, and today he has stated that the 14-inch MacBook Pro will arrive next year. There are still a few months to 2021, so at the moment we have no choice but to wait.
