WhatsApp Web support voice and video calls! very soon
WhatsApp Web support voice and video calls? the messaging application already has a stable function and, therefore, it will soon offer voice and video calls via the computer.
WhatsApp should soon add support for video and voice calls to your web version. These are not new features in general, the WhatsApp mobile app has been offering them for years, but the web version has always been restricted to receiving and sending messages, files, and audios. Now the web version should offer almost the same as the classic messaging app.
According to a report by the specialized website WABetaInfo, new features were discovered in the code of the last update of the web version and in the messenger desktop client. They have already been able to incorporate these features, which are still in development.
WaBetaInfo ensures that the voice and video calling function for WhatsApp Web is currently in beta testing. The publication also shared several screenshots of the highly anticipated features.

Upon receiving a voice call, users will notice a pop-up window that will allow them to accept or reject the call. When making a call, another window is displayed, offering common controls, such as muting and hanging up. In addition, the report says WhatsApp is preparing to test the group voice and video calling feature.
Obviously, this update has not yet been officially announced by the company. Therefore, it is not known exactly when it will be released. But WABetaInfo believes that the function is already working quite steadily. It is precisely for this reason that the update for WhatsApp web services is expected to reach the general public soon. Especially during this quarantine period, WhatsApp will become yet another viable option for video calls on the computer.
