When will Apple launch iOS 14 to the public?
IOS 14 was officially announced during Apple’s WWDC 2020 Special Event Keynote on Monday, but that doesn’t mean it’s available to all iPhone users yet. So When will Apple launch iOS 14 to the public?
Currently, iOS 14 is only available to developers through beta testing, but Apple plans to release it to the public soon.
What’s new in iOS 14?
IOS 14 includes numerous new features for iPhone and iPod touch users. Perhaps the most notable is a variety of changes to the home screen for the first time.
IOS 14 allows users to add widgets to the home screen, while applications can also be stored in the new Application Library.
What this means is that you no longer need to store all your apps on the home screen. Instead, you can keep the most used apps on the home screen and access the rest from the App Library.
IOS 14 also adds a new Translate app that offers a complete text and voice translator. Apple Maps has added new features including support for bike routes and electric vehicle routing, while CarKey is a new way to unlock and start your car using the iPhone.
Apple also says that iOS 14 will allow users to change their default app preferences for the first time. This feature is not available in betas, but it means that users will be able to set Gmail as an email application and indicate that the default browser is Google Chrome, for example.

When will Apple launch iOS 14 to the public?
Apple says a public beta version of iOS 14 will be available in July. After launch, you can install iOS 14 on your iPhone or iPod touch without being a registered developer.
This does not mean that the iOS 14 will be completely free of bugs and performance issues, but will at least be stable enough so that more people can use the new mobile operating system from Apple, the Android Apple.
Apple did not detail when specifically in July the public beta version of iOS 14 will be available. It may happen next week, but we bet it is more likely to arrive from the middle to the end of July.
What if you’re not ready for the beta test of iOS 14? If that is the case, you will have to wait at least 3 more months to install iOS 14 on your iPhone, as generally the system is officially made available in September, along with the latest iPhone models, this year is the iPhone 12.
