WWDC 2020: Apple releases a full schedule of virtual event
Apple releases a full schedule of virtual event (WWDC 2020), this year’s edition of the company’s conference for fans and developers. Because of the new coronavirus pandemic, it will be carried out in a completely digital format and at a distance.
Thanks to the new format, this will be the largest global meeting of the entire community involved with Apple: there will be 23 million people participating in at least one of the activities, ranging from workshops to the traditional opening conference, where new products and updates to the company’s main operating systems – including iOS 14.

The opening conference, which was called “Apple Special Event Presentation”, will take place on June 22. The transmission will be carried out through the company’s website and also through platforms such as Apple TV and YouTube.
Two hours later, more executives will speak specifically about the company’s platform news at the Platforms State of the Union lecture.
In addition, developer forums are scheduled to take place from June 18, individual developer labs (with prior appointment for those enrolled), and more than 100 engineering sessions between June 23 and 26. Before that, on the 16th, the finalists of the Swift Student Challenge programming competition will be announced.
