Xbox Lockhart has its specs leaked with 7.5 GB of RAM and 4 TFLOP GPU [Rumor]
Xbox Series S, as it should be called in the end, would be focused on delivering next-generation games in 1080p or 1440p
Since the official presentation of the Xbox Series X, much has been said about a possible announcement of a second next-generation console by Microsoft, which would be being called internally by the company “Lockhart”, and another series of rumors arise about this new video game.
Recently, the user TitleOS (@ XB1_HexDecimal) published on his Twitter two images of what would be documented from the recent June update of the Gamecore Development Kit (GDK), where it is possible to find references to the name Lockhart, which would be the possible codename of the new Xbox Series S.
This is not the first time that TitleOS has found some kind of mention of Lockhart, and in the beginning of June this same user, in searches made in the Windows 10 files, discovered several references to the name “Lockhart” or “Xbox-Lockhart “.
Xbox Series S “Lockhart” should be released focusing on running games in Full HD

Another recent Lockhart rumor was published by journalist Tom Warren of The Verge, who, through sources linked to Microsoft, would have gotten some details about the console’s hardware.
As has been speculated, the Xbox Lockhart would be a simpler version when compared to the brother Xbox Series X, but cheaper, it is thought to run games in 1080p or 1440p resolution. The console featured a GPU with about 4 TFLOPs and a maximum of 7.5 GB of usable RAM for games. For comparison, the Xbox Series X features a graphics chip with 12 teraflops and 13.5 GB of RAM available for games.
Again citing the document leaked by TitleOS, the “Lockhart mode”, which would be codenamed DANTE , would allow developers to enable this option so that their games have a performance profile that Microsoft wants to achieve with the Xbox Series S.
Other details, such as the gross CPU power that will be used in Lockhart (which would be the same as the Series X, however, with clock cuts) or whether the console will have the same level of ray tracing support as the more powerful brother will have, have not been disclosed.
If confirmed, the Xbox Series S should be launched with the proposal to be a “gateway” for the next generation of games by Microsoft, where the company’s bet would be to bring an accessible console for everyone, with rumors pointing out that it could cost half the price of the Series X, however, all of this information, at this point, is rumors and speculation.
