Choosing a quality monitor for games that are cost-effective is not an easy task. Thinking about it, Xiaomi developed a display thinking about players who don’t have that much financial power, but want a good monitor. For the project to be possible, the Chinese company used its own crowdfunding platform to raise funds for the creation of a 27-inch game monitor.
The new monitor made for games by Xiaomi has an IPS panel with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels with a refresh rate of 165Hz. In addition to these features, it also has a brightness of up to 400 nits, a 95% DCI-P3 color range.
With support for Adaptive-Sync technology and protection against harmful emissions of blue light, Xiaomi’s 27 “monitor has good features for a game-oriented display. In addition, it has HDMI and DisplayPort ports, an input for headphones 3.5mm and USB 3.0 port.
A few months ago, Xiaomi even launched the Xiaomi Monitor and the Xiaomi surface. The first model is geared towards everyday tasks and the last model is geared towards games. However, after the separation of Redmi and Xiaomi, the subsidiary even launched some products to compete. Following this thought, rumors emerged that Redmi would be preparing to launch the Redmi Display.
Xiaomi’s 27-inch gamer monitor arrives for about $ 310 USD. However, if the interested party buys it in the pre-sale, it will cost $ 268.
